Helsinki-Malmi Airport (EFHF)
Helsinki-Malmi airport is a general aviation airport in Helsinki, built in 1936. The historical airport is under a serious threat: The City of Helsinki wants to close the airport down due to residential area plans. Helsinki-Malmi airport is the second busiest airport in Finland with 40.000 landings (2018) and was selected as one of Europe’s 7 most endangered culture heritage sites in May 2016 by Europa Nostra.
